BioVaria 2010
- was organized by thirteen technology transfer organizations from Germany, Austria, Norway and France
- attracted about 180 registered participants from industry, academia and technology transfer (unfortunately, about 20 percent thereof had to cancel on short notice due to the airspace restrictions because of the vulcanic ash)
- presented 48 technologies originating from leading European research institutions including platform technologies as well as diagnostic and therapeutic candidates in a broad range of human diseases
- featured eight promising spin-offs in the Spin-off Panel moderated by Dr Axel Polack, General Partner at TVM Capital
- awarded the EUR 3,000 BioVaria Spin-off Award to iThera Medical GmbH
