Top scientists from public research institutions and universities from all over Germany have showcased about 50 patent-protected technologies that are commercially viable and at an advanced stage of development. Topics covered the diagnosis or treatment of cancer, cardiovascular diseases and further major disease areas.
BioVaria's innovative format combining 10-min presentations with an all-day poster exhibition enabled industry representatives to screen, discuss and select the most suitable in-licensing opportunities. There were no plenary discussions following oral presentations but the inventors were be available at their posters throughout the event to answer individual questions.
